D3 GPS-Antenna Adaptor Information
Photo here
Introduction
The adaptor was designed with the aims
that a GPS antenna could be removed and replaced to
within ~0.1 mm without great care
(both horizontally and vertically, and also that the azimuthal
alignment was maintained),
that the mounting be ``fixed height,''
that the antenna could be leveled (from 2.5-degrees of tilt, easily,
and up to 5-degrees with special modifications),
be resistant to vandalism,
and be as short as possible.
Each of the drawings is available in both PostScript (to download and send
to your local printer) and GIF (to view with your web browser) formats.

- The Assembly Procedure for the D3 Adaptors (Version 2.1; 7/6/99)
is available as either:
GIF format (88 kB), or
PostScript format (48 kB)
The GIF images (above, and the trial single-page versions that follow)
are currently not very useful. We will improve this soon.
The trial page-by-page gif versions of the
text are small files as stored but the browser
expands them to 3.9 MB when downloading; painfully big,
and not as we will ultimately leave them:

Download the PostScript version for printing, not these.
